Andrew Whitworth

Andrew works in public policy in the cryptocurrency space, specifically on UK and EU policy development.

Andrew previously worked at a consumer fintech payments company and the Bank of England, where he helped analyse and develop prudential policy for the traditional finance sector and the fintech/crypto space. He has a PhD in the Political Economy of Financial Regulation from the Johns Hopkins University SAIS, based in Washington, DC and Bologna, Italy, and did his undergraduate degree at the University of Oxford. His latest book is Regulating banks: the politics of instability.
